Engagement Nostalgia

After celebrating my sister’s engagement, I’ve had a lot of engagement nostalgia. Josh asked me to marry him while we were walking under a canopy of orange-hued leaves in mid October. I didn’t even let him finish the proposal before I accepted. He has always been and always will be the only one for me.  

Today he brought me flowers. They are bright orange and yellow to match the Fall colors outside. He knows I love Fall. It is my favorite season. That is why he proposed in Fall. He is a good man who prioritizes my happiness. I will forever be grateful for the day I said “yes!”
