Fall Traditions

Fall is our favorite season.  Each year, we load up the van and take the kids to visit the local pumplin patch.  There’s a really beautiful farm close to our home that has big slides, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin train.  After we take the train ride around the property, we usually buy way too many pumpkins and decorate our porch as a family.  We bake lots of pumpkin muffins during this time of year while we watch the trees change colors from the kitchen window.  

Last year, we took our youngest daugther to visit a pumpkin house while her big sisters were at school!  It was so much fun watching her walk through a little house made entirely of pumpkins.  The summers can get hot in Nashville, so we usually welcome the change of seasons and the cooler temperatures!
