PLAYING BASKETBALL

Ever since Covid hit I haven’t been able to play basketball. I used to play pickup games at the gym with the guys twice a week. I was usually the only girl there but I became friends with quite a few of them. Recently though I decided to at least start shooting around to get my shot back, so I met my friend at the gym to shoot around. It was like riding a bike. I started out at the free throw line and then backed up to the 3-point line. I was hitting a lot of them. Then some high school guys came in and started shooting around too. We decided to play a quick game of 3 on 3. Even in the game I made three 3-point shots…which I don’t think I’ve ever done before. I’m sure this was a one-time fluke. Anyway, I had a blast shooting around and playing that quick pickup game. I miss basketball and hope I can continue to practice and soon play more games.
