I was born and raised in Western Oklahoma in a farming and ranching community. I learned many valuable lessons during my childhood, although I was raised to have respect for others above all. As a kid, I grew up helping my father on the farm and with his semi-truck business. I always loved both! There were many long nights and early mornings, but I wouldn’t change it if I could! The time I spent helping out my dad taught me the importance of working hard and provided me with the opportunity to spend time with my family. “If you want it, work hard until you get it,”; its a lesson I carry with me to this day and hope to instill in this child as well.
After high school, I attended college, graduated in 2007 and came back home. It was then that I started helping my dad run the family farm and the truck dealership full-time.
I cannot wait to be able to teach this child all the lessons my father taught me. I will be sure to teach them to respect and love others, and I hope to someday pass on the family business.Through the years I have sat and watched friends and family experience special moments with their children. I am excited at the opportunity to get to experience those moments for myself! First steps, first words, learning to ride a bike, first tee-ball game, it’s moments like these that I cannot wait for!
