About Juan

I was born in Medellin, Colombia, and lived in Colombia until the age of nine, when my parents brought us to the US. My sister and I are forever grateful for the sacrifices my parents made to give us a better life. Growing up in Colombia taught me the strength of family and gave me a strong sense of culture. Even though we moved to America when I was young, my Colombian heritage runs deep still to this day. My family and I try to preserve that cultural identity and share it with those around us any chance we get. When we came to America, we moved to New Jersey, where I lived before moving to Florida six and a half years ago. 

As a sales manager for a communications company, I get the chance to meet new members of my community every day. My career allows me to make my own schedule; flexibility that I am so thankful for as I can be home more often.

Outside of my work, am an avid fisherman and I love anything outdoors. I also love to travel with my wife and experience new places. I grew up playing soccer with my family in Colombia and still love it to this day. One day, I hope to coach a little soccer team. In addition to my everyday hobbies, I love spending time with my family – especially my niece and nephew.
