We live in a vintage home built in 1920. Living in an older home seemed natural to us since we fell in love with older architecture when we lived in Chicago. Our home is spacious and unique due to its older nature. We are in the process of redesigning our backyard to maximize our living space, since we seem to spend a lot of our time outside.
Our neighborhood is quite special. We live in the North End of Boise. Our street is laden with large trees and older homes. We live just 2 blocks from the elementary school and walking distance to one of our favorite parks, Camel’s Back. We have a close knit relationship with our neighbors and there are many children who are constantly playing between our yard and the neighbors’ yard.
The best part of living in Boise is the multitude of opportunities it presents. We live close to downtown, but have a small town feel in our neighborhood. Jamie’s sister and her family along with her mother both live in Eagle which is super close. We get together frequently and enjoy spending time at her sister’s pool. Jordan’s parents and brothers live in Salt Lake City which is a half-day drive away and a place where we frequent often.
