OUR HOME

Our little patch of the earth is located in a wonderful community in suburban Indiana. When the weather is nice, the many neighbor children can be heard laughing in the neighborhood park or splashing in the swimming pool. We enjoy taking in the fresh air on the many walking trails around our home and spending crisp fall evenings around a crackling fire in our backyard! Sometimes Dan and Nick take a morning walk to the pond to go fishing.

At home, much revolves around mealtime. When Allison is in the kitchen, there are likely to be aromas of simmering chili, baking pizza, or sauteed vegetables. On other days Dan may be grilling some salmon fillets or pork chops and may even smoke a brisket around the holidays. Nick even gets involved, putting toppings on his pizza or helping prepare the grill. We can’t wait to have another little helper in the kitchen and look forward to all the wonderful meals we’ll cook together as a family!

In the basement, we have a huge play area with carpet and padded floors where Nick is free to play ball and run without fear of breaking anything valuable! Upstairs, Nick is super proud of his Hot Wheels-decorated bedroom that he recently moved into. The nursery across the hall now sits empty and ready for a new occupant someday!

Our home would not be complete without our dog Lexi, who enthusiastically greets anyone who comes to visit and is quick to cuddle up with us for a cozy evening reading a book or watching TV.

We chose our house with a growing family in mind. We have ample room to share, are located in one of the best school districts, and have family just a short drive away. This truly is the perfect place to raise a family, and we are eager to create lots of memories here as our family grows.
