We live in a Cape Cod-style home in a family-friendly, and diverse neighborhood in Holland, MI. We are intentional about building a community around us that is affirming of diversity and welcoming to all.
Our four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is on a tree-lined street and close to schools, just a few blocks from our church. We’re also just a short walk or bike ride to the playground, store, ice-cream shop, and coffee shop. Our neighborhood is full of young children and we love to spend time with them!
In the summer we get busy with house projects, working to intentionally make this house into our home. We’ve redesigned the mud-room, remodeled the basement playroom, and combined the kitchen and dining room to fit the needs of our active family. We spend most of our time at home in the yard, experimenting with the pizza oven, and eating out on the back deck. We also spend lots of time in the kitchen around the island, or in our living room playing games, doing puzzles, and singing while David plays the piano.
