Family

Bridget and her sister, who is seven years older than her, were raised by a single mom, who worked tirelessly to provide for the family. Growing up, the girls spent most of their time with their cousins who lived just blocks away. Their street was filled with kids, so they had lots of friends and made countless memories. Her aunt and uncle always included them in vacations, holiday dinners and celebrated every birthday with us. Bridget’s entire family, which now includes nephews Harrison (2) and Grant (4 months), is still really close and totally supportive and excited about our decision to adopt. 

Brian grew up alongside his three brothers and younger sister. There’s a special dynamic in Irish families that says, “I can say anything about my brother, but you better not.” That couldn’t be truer for Brian’s family. They’re all very loyal and protective of one another. When they all get together these days, it’s like they’re back in the old neighborhood, just having fun. Being a part of their family is a special thing and we’re blessed to have a great relationship with everyone. They too are all excited for us to grow our family through adoption!
