Hello!

Hello! We are Angela (Angie) and Erin. Thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We hope our pictures and words allow you a glimpse into our story, life and journey together and help you to gain a better understanding of who we are as individuals and as a couple.

When we first met, we were each seeking a unique way to get fit and expand our social circle. We independently joined the rookie program for a local women’s dragon boat team. A dragon boat basically looks like a big canoe that seats 10 or 20 people. At first, Angie was unaware of Erin’s interest in her. Angie still teases Erin about the time (early on) we sat together in the dragon boat (there’s not a lot of wiggle room!) and Erin basically didn’t speak because she was nervous. Anyone that knows Erin knows that she is not the quiet type. 

After exchanging text messages and phone calls, then eventually hanging out, we discovered an immediate connection. We formed a friendship which quickly blossomed into a relationship. We share similar interests, values and goals, swiftly realizing that we wanted to continue life’s journey together. In July, 2019, we got married.  

We have very different personalities, but are the most perfect complement to each other – we truly balance each other out. We have so much love and respect for each other and cannot wait to take the next steps on our journey of growing our family. Welcoming a child into our family is a dream of ours. We know, deep in our hearts, that adoption is the right path for us.
