Our Values

Peace, joy, laughter, safety and Jesus are the core of our family. We attend a non-denominational church and are helping our little boys understand how much Jesus loves them, that God is the biggest and prayer is powerful. We also are big believers in “peaceful parenting.” Which means that chaos and yelling are not welcome in our home. Although we can admit that we aren’t perfect, we are all human, after all. But we prioritize giving everyone space to feel what they’re feeling and the grace to walk it out honestly. 

Our family prioritizes togetherness. We believe people are more important than things. Things can be replaced, feelings cannot be unhurt. Words are important and powerful, we are careful to use them wisely with each other and are teaching our little boys to do the same. It is also important to both of us that we don’t set our kids up to fail, which means that we prepare them for different situations as best as we can. Our home is as kid-proofed as it can be, but also allows for them to each have age-appropriate independence.
