About Kenny (by Beth)

Kenny is a kind, smart, funny, and easy going guy. He has a natural curiousity and a creative spirit, which means he’s always finding new projects to work on or a new skill to learn. He’d rather figure out how to make something or fix something himself than go buy a new one. In preparation for growing our family, he worked to rennovate our bathroom, and he recently built a patio out back so we can enjoy time together outside.

It has been so awesome to watch him with Julien as a stay-at-home dad. It is without a doubt the job he was born to do.  He and Julien manage to find little adventures every day all around our neighborhood. I always love when Kenny tells me about something new that Julien learned or did that day, or a new friend he made. He is such a loving daddy and we are so blessed to have him.

Kenny is the oldest of three children. His parents are two of the most loving and generous people I know. They share Kenny’s love of games and trying new things. Julien absolutely loves visiting Grandma and Grandpa’s house, where he gets to play with lots of toys, ride on Grandpa’s tractor, or go sledding on their big sledding hill. Kenny’s dad is a wonderful father and I can see those qualities in Kenny as he interacts with Julien.

Our journey to parenthood has been very difficult both physically and emotionally. Through it all, Kenny has been my strongest support. He is comforting and encouraging and has maintained a positive outlook even through the most challenging times. Parenthood will bring its ups and downs as well, and I know that with Kenny by my side, we are ready to take on anything.
