LETTER ABOUT THEM

Hi, we are Mat and Eric! Thank you for choosing to read our story and to learn more about us as prospective parents.

Mat is originally from the U.K. and Eric was born and raised in San Diego. We met in 2007 at a Salsa dance class in San Francisco and quickly became partners both on and off the dance floor. We were married at Disneyland in 2011, and we now live in the suburbs of New York City. Mat leads the operations team of a law firm and Eric is an author and stay-at-home dad.

Family is very important to both of us. As uncles and godparents, children have always held a special place in our life. We began our path to parenthood a year after we were married. Our children, Connor (7) and Olivia (2) both joined our family through open adoption. Connor loves taekwondo, swimming, and superheroes. Olivia loves music and everything outdoors. We are all excited to continue to grow our family through adoption!
