Our Journey Towards Adoption

Hi there. We are Mike and StephanieThank you so much for considering us as a potential adoptive family. We want you to know how deeply grateful we are that you are taking the time to get to know us. We hope this profile helps you get a better feel for who we are and would love the opportunity to get to know you better as well! 

Not all love stories are straight out of the movies, but we think ours is pretty close! At the time we first met, Stephanie was taking Jiu-Jitsu lessons across the street from the bar that Mike was managing. One evening, after Stephanie finished her yellow belt testing, she ended up across the street with Mike serving drinks. Confident as ever, Mike asked Stephanie out. But first, she needed some convincing. After several attempts and a first date, Stephanie realized that there was a connection. And after our second date, we both knew, “this is it!” One year later, Mike proposed, and we were married in a beautiful event in 2013.

Our journey has been long, and we have been tested in life, but it has only made us a stronger couple and reinforced our desire to be parents. We want nothing more than to raise happy, healthy and loved children. As parents we wish to be a secure base for a child; a source of love, understanding, patience, and support. We are warm, loving, compassionate, driven, and loyal, and hope to pass these same qualities on to a child.
