My Home

I live in a beautiful three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with my dog, Matilda. Our home sits on a lovely, little street in a suburb of NY. The yard is an ideal size for outdoor play without being too overwhelming to mow. The cozy kitchen is perfect for cooking big meals with my family, one of my favorite ways to spend time. 

The neighborhood itself is fantastic. The streets, lined with trees, are well-lit with many lamp posts. There’s an ice cream shop on the corner, where I frequently take my niece and nephew for a treat. On our ice cream adventures, we follow the grassy pathway that runs throughout the neighborhood and we’ve been known to pick the raspberries that grow along the way. The primary school is a couple of blocks down the street. The playground makes a great place to visit with the children in my life. I have close relationships with my neighbors, and we look out for one another.

The surrounding community is very special. There are three museums within a five-minute car ride and three sports teams (hockey, baseball, and soccer) to cheer for. In the summer, families flock to free outdoor movies and concerts and the many nearby lakes to visit and explore.
