OUR FAMILY

Family is the number one priority in our lives – as simple as that. Our families are small, but tight-knit, warm, loving, and open-minded. Our families are overjoyed for us to welcome a child. They have been so supportive throughout our journey, and they know how important it is to us that we become parents. With five grandchildren, our parents are very hands-on, helping in any way they can. 

We spend all of the holidays with Lara’s parents, brother, sister in law, niece and nephews, and lifelong friends. We cook family feasts together, play board games, watch a movie, or hang out in the park. We can always count on our family members to listen to us and have heart-to-heart conversations when they are needed.

Oren’s parents live in Chicago. His aunt, uncle, and cousins live in New Jersey. His parents can’t wait to have a relationship with a new little one. When we are not visiting them, we talk a lot on the phone or through Skype. 

As we have lived in different places, we have close friends on the East Coast, Midwest, and West coast. We know we can count on them when we need them, and they know they can count on us.
