Our Family

We just can’t say enough about family. When we told our families that we would be opening our home and hearts to foster children, the first thing Brandon’s sister asked was, “Can I throw you a foster shower?” The amount of support was overwhelming. Every child that came into our home automatically gained an aunt, uncle, grandma, and grandpa. They loved them as if they were their very own, and when the time came for those children to return to their families, our family also mourned and celebrated with us. Our family’s reaction when we told them we would be adopting was so exciting and special. Everyone has been so involved and supportive since day one.

We both grew up with siblings, so most of our favorite childhood memories include them. Even today, we are close with our brothers and sisters and make time to see one another with our busy schedules. Being intentional about reaching out to parents and grandparents is also important to us. Lunch and dinner dates at the house or at a restaurant is one of our favorite things to do with loved ones.
