Our Family

You know that saying, “It takes a village to raise a child?” Well, that’s how we feel when it comes to our families. Both of us were raised around our families. Our cousins were our best friends, our aunts and uncles were our babysitters, and our parents were our coaches. We were raised with love and cannot wait to pass these same special relationships on to the next generation.

Our parents were meant to be grandparents! We have weekly dinners with Jill’s parents and have weekly breakfast after church with Mike’s parents. With everyone living in the same city, Thanksgiving and Christmas are spent with family and filled with presents and treats. Jill and the kids go on walks with her mom every day after work and the kids love to spend the extra time with Grandma. Mike’s mom is a preschool teacher so she will teach all of our kids!  Eli just started preschool this year and loves that Ma is his teacher! 

Jill’s brother and his wife just had a baby and we see them every couple of weeks. Although we don’t live in the same city, we are not far and get lots of opportunities for snuggles! One of Mike’s sisters has three kids and they live in Georgia. We enjoy taking road trips a couple times a year to spend time with them. The kids all play together and have a great time! 

As a whole, we have a very loving and supportive family that is excited about welcoming another member to our family! They are just as excited as we are to love and spoil this child.
