Our Family + Traditions

Although we really enjoyed living in Chicago, we decided to move back to our hometown in order to be closer to our family and friends. We wanted our children to grow up with their cousins, grandparents and great-grandparents, just like we did as children. 

We are fortunate to be able to see and have many dinners with our extended family often since we all live so close. We love to celebrate milestones, holidays, and birthdays together. Our families and friends are so excited for us to adopt and we are so blessed with all the support we’ve received from them.

We LOVE to celebrate every milestone, special occasion, and holiday with our family and friends! One of our favorite memories of our first year with Thomas was our first Christmas together and his first Birthday. Samantha went above and beyond planning that party for our little lumberjack! 

Fourth of July is always the celebration of the summer for our family. We love to celebrate at the lake, watch fireworks, take lots of pontoon rides, and most importantly, have our grill master (AKA Mike) grill delicious food for us all weekend. Our family is so excited to have another little one join the family and celebrate all of life’s milestones alongside.
