Our Friends and Family

We both come from larger families (Jonathon has a brother and a sister; Katie has a twin, an older brother, and an older sister). We love spending time with our families over Christmas. Both of our families live near each other, so we take several long trips every year to soak up family time. Our family likes to visit us as well. We like to hike together, go to the beach, and explore new towns. 

We are really lucky to have built some amazing friendships over the course of our marriage. Because of where we live, we get to become friends with people from all over the world. So many of these friends feel like family. We go on vacations together and celebrate Thanksgiving with each other. As we grow our family again through adoption, these same friends and family are overjoyed. Relationships are such an important part of life, and we know that this next child will be surrounded by the same joy, love, and acceptance that we feel in our lives.
