Our Home

Our home is on a quiet and safe cul-de-sac surrounded by neighbors that we have known for years who care for our family. We have a ranch-style home with large and open living spaces, including a finished basement, that allow for plenty of room to play and welcome friends and family. We live within walking distance of our schools, three parks, several athletic complexes, the public library, wetlands and woods, and almost everything we need. A few of our favorite at-home pastimes are decorating a real Christmas tree, planting flowers, baking treats, and playing cul-de-sac games.

Almost all of Amanda’s family is within walking distance or a quick bike ride and much of Mark’s family is just a short drive away. Because we live so close to our families, we get together several times a week. Amanda’s parents have a pool, a multi-person tree swing, and a sandbox and they love having our families over for parties and family traditions like Polar Express Night. Mark’s parents live on 6 acres with a woods to explore, a pool, and a zip-line and they love to host extended family gatherings with bonfires.
