We bought our ten-acre farmhouse in 2016. Our home is rustic, warm, and inviting, and we’ve already made lots of memories here together. It is a two-story home, so our downstairs has a very open feel to it. This is great for when we have family or friends over, and everyone is able to talk with one another without feeling squeezed in. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, along with Amber’s office. The nursery is really starting to come together! We feel like every time we go shopping, we just have to get something small for the nursery.
We have two barns outside. One is the “shop” where Justin works on the vehicles, tractors, and motorcycles. The other barn is the horse barn where we have several horse stalls.
We live in the country, so there is lots of room around us to play outside. We also have amazing neighbors around us. The neighbors behind our home are just like family to us and would do anything for us.
We live about 10 minutes from a smaller town that has a great school and places to eat. We are also about 40 minutes away from the bigger city where there are children’s museums, zoos and more. Our small town has the best fireworks display for the Fourth of July! Every year, we watch them together from our front porch.
