Our home is so special to us! Built in the 1950s, it was one of the first homes constructed in our neighborhood. It was lovingly built, and owned, by Ginger’s great aunt and uncle. Over the last ten years, it has gone through many exciting renovations. The inside has been fully updated, and last year, we had a “total makeover” on the exterior of the house to express a “Craftsman-style” design. The front room is where we gather for family time. Buttons, our dog, especially loves our fenced-in backyard! You can often find us there too, sitting around the fire pit and roasting marshmallows for s’mores!
We love our neighborhood and it’s filled with many peaceful elements. We live on a quiet block, which is perfect for evening walks. Our neighbors are friendly, and some of our best friends live just down the street. Since we live close to a national forest, we often see the best of nature around our yard: owls, squirrels, and several deer are frequently seen in our neighborhood. During the holidays, our neighbors decorate their homes with beautiful, festive lights and Christmas trees.
Our town is so special to us because it is where Ginger grew up. Her family still lives here, and we see them often. We live within walking distance to town and the historic downtown area, where we love to attend the festivals and events throughout the year.
