We bought our home in 2017. Since that time, we have enjoyed renovating the interior with our own two hands (and with the help of Ellen’s dad who is a retired architect). We chose this home because we knew it would be a beautiful place for a child to grow up. We’re on close to an acre of land, and there are plenty of places to play and explore, including a pool! It’s spacious inside with four bedrooms and a large kitchen/dining where we plan to spend many days cooking, eating, laughing, and talking.

We live in a rural, but suburban area on the outskirts of a larger city. This location is our dream neighborhood because there are tons of outdoor spaces to play and feel at ease with a quieter life. Just down the street from us is a farm with a few horses that hosts summer camps for kids. Around the corner from there, you can drive by farm after farm with cows and chickens. We also love that the city is only 20 minutes away from us. It’s great being able to experience wonderful restaurants, see shows at the large performing arts theater and visit other family-friendly places like the children’s museum or the aquarium.
