Our Home and Pets

We live in a cozy three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with a fenced-in backyard. Our house sits on a small lake where Juan loves to fish, and where we enjoy drinking our morning coffee. We currently have a gender-neutral nursery set up, all ready to welcome a little one home. Our favorite room is our Florida room because it overlooks the lake and is cozy enough to hang out in during all seasons. With lots of space for playing and excellent schools nearby, our home is the perfect place to raise a child.

Juan’s family lives less than 20 minutes down the road and Shawnee’s family is less than an hour away in the quiet countryside. Our favorite tradition is getting together every Sunday for at least one meal as a family. 

Our neighborhood is the perfect combination of ages and life stages, with small giggly children mixed with older generations who like to keep an eye out for everyone. There are many parks close to our home and many theme parks are within a small driving distance. We frequent Universal, where we are pass holders but, we love taking our nieces and nephews to Disney. Our community also has farmers’ markets and museums where children can play. We have a sweet husky who loves to play and a Walker hound with floppy ears who we rescued from a hunting farm. We love to take the pups on weekend outings and enjoy our time as a family! When the weather is cool, we love to take them to the beach as well.
