Our Story

We grew up together in a fairly small town. Though we didn’t know each other well, we shared classes and friends at school. Tom even worked at the very same Italian restaurant that Karen frequented with her dad! But it wasn’t until our 10-year high school reunion that we finally made a real connection. We exchanged numbers that night, and the rest is history! 

We dated long distance for about a year and a half, but that finally changed when Tom joined Karen in New York City. What hasn’t changed is our love for dumplings, pizza, cheesesteaks, hoagies, and each other! We got engaged at Tokyo Disney Sea, Karen’s favorite place, and got married at an art museum in 2015.

Funny enough, Tom’s job took us back to Tokyo, Japan in 2017. We loved exploring Southeast Asia and had a great time together. However, we are now content being at home here in New York City with our family and friends.We look forward to revisiting all of our favorite places and creating new memories as a family of three. We feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced the world and are excited to pass this wanderlust on to a child!
