Our Story

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Our hearts are with you as you make this courageous decision.

We met in the summer of 2015 working as counselors for a youth church camp. Danielle’s co-counselor was busy so Landon was asked to step in and help her with a morning devotional. He watched her teach a group of teenagers and was impressed by her confidence and kindness. He decided he wanted to get to know her better. Later that week, Landon asked Danielle to dance during a “counselor dance” and by the end of the summer, we were dating.

During our last year of school at Utah State University (Go Aggies), we dated and spent a lot of time studying and eating Wendy’s “4 for 4” meals. We both graduated in the spring, Landon with a degree in mechanical engineering and Danielle with a degree in special education. A month later we were married in Utah and since then have moved around to different parts of the state for jobs. Most recently, we bought a house in Utah Valley, closer to Landon’s family.

Soon after we were married, we started trying to grow our family. After a year of no luck, we consulted with doctors and were diagnosed with unknown infertility. Since then, we have tried pretty much everything, even multiple IVF cycles, which have all led to miscarriages. We both really desire to be parents and feel strongly that our family needs to grow by adoption. We look forward to our future with excitement and hope.
