Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Our hearts are with you as you make this courageous decision.
We met in the summer of 2015 as counselors for EFY, a youth church camp. Danielle’s co counselor was busy and Landon was asked to step in and help her with a morning devotional. He watched her teach a group of teenagers and was impressed by her confidence and kindness and decided he wanted to get to know her better. Later that week he asked her to dance during a “counselor dance” and by the end of the summer we were dating. We both had a year of school left at Utah State University (Go Aggies!) where we dated and spent a lot of time studying and eating Wendy’s 4 for 4 meals. That spring we both graduated, Landon got his degree in mechanical engineering and Danielle in special education. A month later we were married in Utah and since then have moved around to different parts of Utah for jobs, and most recently bought a house in Utah Valley, closer to Landon’s family. Pretty soon after we were married we started trying to grow our family. After a year of no luck we consulted with doctors and were diagnosed with unknown infertility. Since then we have tried pretty much everything, even multiple IVF cycles which have all lead to miscarriages. We both really desire to be parents and both feel strongly that our family needs to grow by adoption and we look forward to our future with excitement and hope.
