Our Traditions
Changing of the seasons brings new decorations in the house and new traditions that we seem to recognize every year. We look forward to sharing these with a child.
Spring: The unofficial start of fishing season. Cool mornings that warm up into comfortable days. Spending long days on the water, that hopefully will later turn into a fish fry for dinner.
Summer: Fourth of July! Justin’s parents have a house on the lake where all the family meets for a big cookout. Good BBQ, boat rides, and fireworks. The lake community puts on a wonderful firework show in the evening.
Fall: Family, friends, and football. Football Saturdays are always a fun time when friends and family get together to watch the games.
Winter: The dropping of temperature starts the countdown to the holidays. Big, family home-cooked meals and getting to sit down in fellowship with each other.
