Travel and Traditions

Family vacations were a big part of our childhoods growing up and we can’t wait to make some amazing memories with our own family. One of our favorite adventures was taking a Snow Coach up Mount Washington in New Hampshire in the middle of February. The views were amazing, and we learned some amazing facts about the mountain from the tour guide on the way up! Most recently, we took a road trip to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. We loved playing mini golf on the side of a mountain! And we found that walking across rope bridges in the trees really tested our fear of heights, but it was a lot of fun.

We also have many traditions that we look forward to and can’t wait to make new ones as our family grows. Each fall we visit the local county fair, orchard and pumpkin patch. We enjoy decorating the house for fall and hosting our families for Thanksgiving. Waking up early to cook the Thanksgiving turkey is something we look forward to every year.

Christmas is Katherine’s favorite holiday and we can’t wait to share this time of year with a child. We love putting lights outside the house, hanging stockings by the fireplace and most importantly we always get a tree to decorate. We can’t wait to see a child’s face on Christmas morning as they run out to see if Santa has come the night before!
