Hello, we are Chris and Paige. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family, and for considering us as prospective parents. We hope this book gives you insight into who we are and the love our family shares for one another.

We grew up living less than 20 minutes away from one another in our childhoods and young adult lives. Our paths crossed multiple times as we attended bowling events, concerts, and other events that we found interest in, but never had the opportunity to meet. It wasn’t until 2019, however, that we finally matched on an online dating site.

As we continued in our relationship, we saw qualities in each other that we wanted to pursue further. The safety of each other’s presence, stability, honesty, and constant reassurance was affirmed more each day, and we chose to get married in 2021.

Early in our relationship, Paige was very open about her desire to one day be a mother and the unlikely chance that she would be able to have biological children due to the risk to herself and to the baby. Chris was supportive and understanding, as he wanted to have a family, as well. Adoption has been on our hearts and in our prayers as we hope to grow our family.

Financial Support

Expectant mothers who choose to make an adoption plan may qualify for some level of financial assistance during their pregnancy. However, each person's situation and specific needs are different. Your adoption social worker can help you determine what level of assistance you qualify for and deserve. Many expectant mothers qualify for financial assistance to cover basic pregnancy and living expenses, including but not limited to - transportation reimbursement, utility assistance for phone, water, and electricity/gas, maternity clothing and supplements, etc.

FAQ’s about placing a baby for Adoption

I'm considering giving my baby up for adoption. How much does that cost?

It won't cost you anything. If you choose to place your baby for adoption, all of your medical and legal fees will be covered and you may be eligible for financial assistance with other pregnancy-related expenses.

I'm experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and don't know who the birth father is. Can I still place my baby for adoption?

Yes. Even if you don’t know the identity of the birth father, you can still choose to make an adoption plan. However, every adoption situation is different. The adoption social worker you’re assigned to will get to know you and your story first, and then guide you through the process accordingly.

When is the right time to talk with an adoption professional?

You can make an adoption plan at any point in your pregnancy, even after the baby has been born. But, it's important to start the process as early in your pregnancy as possible. Connecting with those resources will allow you to gain access to important medical services, including prenatal care, to help ensure a healthy pregnancy.

When I create an adoption plan, will I get to choose who is in the room with me during delivery?

One aspect of your adoption plan is the "Hospital Plan" an outline of how you'd like your hospital stay and delivery to go. You can craft this on your own or with the help of your adoption social worker. But everything is up to you. You’ll be able to choose who comes to the hospital with you, who is in the room with you during delivery, and how much time you’d like to spend with the baby before signing the final papers.

How much contact will I have with the adoptive family after I place my baby with them?

As part of your adoption plan, you'll determine whether or not you’d like to have an open or closed adoption or something in between. Open adoptions may include phone calls, messaging (via social media, email, or text), and/or periodic visits each year. Closed adoptions may include no contact at all or annual updates provided to the birth parent(s) by the adoptive family. Each post-adoption relationship is different and can vary based on what an expectant mother chooses in her adoption plan.

With the summer sun, brings a little more freedom to explore, create memories, and spend time with family and friends. It was filled with birthday celebrations, holidays, and a vacation that was full of love and laughter. So far Chris has kicked off his golfing season, while Paige has gone on trips to the zoo and children's museum with family. Together, we've spent some time with our dogs and went out for our weekly grocery and dinner date nights on Fridays. We've even visited some of the local farmers markets.  This month, we had the opportunity to travel with Paige's family. It began and ended with just the two of us as we got to experience the small city life in parts of Pennsylvania where we explored Amish Country in Lancaster and Gettysburg for its history. In between those two stops, we went to the city that never sleeps (New York City) as we met up with the rest of the family. There we were able to see a Broadway play, a Yankees game, and tour the World Trade Center Memorials. Taking the time to experience the world around us with the people we love the most makes our hearts...

Disney World Spring Adventure

07/08/2025

Our first vacation of the year took us to the Happiest Place on Earth. While we have gone together once before, we were only able to explore Hollywood Studios. This time we celebrated our anniversary and we were able to experience each park. We enjoyed getting to meet some of our favorite Disney and Pixar characters: Mulan, friends at the Hundred Acre Woods, Goofy, Joy from Inside Out, Chewbacca, and so many more! We aren't really into big thrill rides, so we were able to ride some of the classics (It's a Small World, Dumbo, Teacups, Haunted Mansion, etc.). One of our favorite parts about the parks was trying the different foods around the world at Epcot.  While we had such a great time experiencing the magic, our absolute favorite thing was spending some time with family. We had a wonderful time making some s'mores and swimming with cousins.  The most magical thing of all was just being able to share these experiences with the ones we love most.
