…and we’re so grateful you’re here.

We know you’re carrying so much in your heart right now, and before anything else, we want you to know this: we see you. We may not know your story yet, but we already hold deep respect for your strength, your love, and your courage. Whatever you choose, we’re rooting for you and holding space for you with compassion.

Our family was born through adoption, and it has shaped our hearts in the most beautiful ways. Both of our youngest children — Dublin and Zion — were born in Texas and share the same incredible birth mother. When she became pregnant with Zion, she reached out to the agency and asked if we might adopt him too, so her children could grow up together. That moment will always stay with us — a powerful reminder that adoption begins with love and trust.

We stay connected with her through photos and updates, because that’s what she wants right now. And we honor that — always. If you're open to having a relationship, we would welcome it with open hearts, in whatever way feels right to you. Whether it’s through letters, visits, or just knowing the door is open — we’re here for that. We love to travel and would be honored to meet in person if that’s something you feel good about.

Our home is full of joy, culture, music, bedtime stories, kitchen dance parties, and a whole lot of love. We believe in raising children who know where they came from, who feel proud of their story and secure in the truth that they are deeply loved by everyone who brought them into this world.

If our lives are meant to connect, please know we will carry your story with care. And if you choose another path, we still hold you in our hearts and wish you peace on your journey.

With gratitude and love,
Jone, Christina, Dublin & Zion

FAQ’s about placing a baby for Adoption

I'm considering giving my baby up for adoption. How much does that cost?

It won't cost you anything. If you choose to place your baby for adoption, all of your medical and legal fees will be covered and you may be eligible for financial assistance with other pregnancy-related expenses.

I'm experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and don't know who the birth father is. Can I still place my baby for adoption?

Yes. Even if you don’t know the identity of the birth father, you can still choose to make an adoption plan. However, every adoption situation is different. The adoption social worker you’re assigned to will get to know you and your story first, and then guide you through the process accordingly.

When is the right time to talk with an adoption professional?

You can make an adoption plan at any point in your pregnancy, even after the baby has been born. But, it's important to start the process as early in your pregnancy as possible. Connecting with those resources will allow you to gain access to important medical services, including prenatal care, to help ensure a healthy pregnancy.

When I create an adoption plan, will I get to choose who is in the room with me during delivery?

One aspect of your adoption plan is the "Hospital Plan" an outline of how you'd like your hospital stay and delivery to go. You can craft this on your own or with the help of your adoption social worker. But everything is up to you. You’ll be able to choose who comes to the hospital with you, who is in the room with you during delivery, and how much time you’d like to spend with the baby before signing the final papers.

How much contact will I have with the adoptive family after I place my baby with them?

As part of your adoption plan, you'll determine whether or not you’d like to have an open or closed adoption or something in between. Open adoptions may include phone calls, messaging (via social media, email, or text), and/or periodic visits each year. Closed adoptions may include no contact at all or annual updates provided to the birth parent(s) by the adoptive family. Each post-adoption relationship is different and can vary based on what an expectant mother chooses in her adoption plan.

Elephants, Memories & Magic: A Day at the San Diego Zoo

07/14/2025

Yesterday, we spent the day at the San Diego Zoo, and it was everything we needed—sunshine, animals, laughter, and that priceless feeling of being fully present as a family. We packed a lunch before heading out, knowing the excitement would hit hard as soon as we arrived. Sure enough, by the time we walked through the gates, the kids were already ready to eat, so we found a shady bench and had our picnic right away. Starting the day with sandwiches cut into heart and Mickey shapes and fruits in the middle of such a beautiful place somehow made it feel extra special—simple moments with the best company. The clear favorite of the day? The elephants. No contest. There’s something deeply moving about seeing these incredible animals in person, but I think what made it even more special for our family was the connection to our past experience in Thailand, where we visited an elephant sanctuary. The kids immediately remembered feeding and walking alongside those gentle giants. Standing at the elephant enclosure yesterday, I could see the memories lighting up in their eyes.  That memory from Thailand turned a moment at the zoo into something deeper—more than just observation, it...
