Hi! We are Matt and Victoria, welcome to our page! We’re so excited to share our story with you. 

We met in the summer of 2013, in New Jersey through a mutual friend that Victoria has known since preschool and who Matt went to college with. We bought our first home together in 2017, rescued our dog, Brody, and were married in October of 2022. Brody walked down the aisle in his tux at our wedding, and was the star of the show! 

We have talked about adoption since the beginning of our relationship, and that’s when we knew we were meant for each other and meant for this journey. We want nothing more than to give a child a loving, happy, family-oriented life, and to raise them with nothing but the best.

Hi, I’m Matt! I was born and raised in New Jersey and now work in New York City for the National Football League. I live in Jersey with my wife, Victoria, and our dog, Brody.

In the summer, you’ll often find me on the golf course, spending days at the beach, or cheering on the Mets. When winter rolls around, I trade the beach for the slopes, snowboarding whenever I can, and watching my favorite teams—the Jets and Islanders—play.

Above all, family is the most important part of my life. I love spending time with my siblings, nieces, parents, and in-laws, whether it’s for a big family gathering or just a casual Sunday dinner. Being surrounded by loved ones is what matters most to me, and I can’t wait to share that with a child one day.

Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m from New Jersey and have two younger sisters who I’m very close with. Growing up, our parents encouraged us to play sports—I played softball for 10 years and was a cheerleader in high school. After high school, I wasn’t sure what to pursue, so I attended community college and took a metals and jewelry class. That led me to Towson University, where I earned my BS in metalsmithing and jewelry design. I love creating jewelry and have been passionate about it ever since.

I’m a fan of hands-on creativity and always have a project going—whether it’s sewing, gardening, knitting, pottery, or fostering dogs. I’ve been fostering puppies since 2024, helping them find their forever homes. Last year, we fostered four dogs, which was both exhausting and rewarding.

When I’m not working on a project, I love spending time with Matt and our dog, Brody. We enjoy watching New Girl and One Tree Hill, going to the beach, and relaxing by the pool. During quarantine, I took up golfing with Matt, and we also enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter. We often take day trips to the Poconos.

Most of my friends now have children, and I love spending time with them. My best friend’s daughter loves FaceTiming, and I always look forward to hearing about her day. I also have a 12-year-old goddaughter who wants to be a hairstylist. She loves doing my hair and is actually better at it than I am!

We bought our first home together in 2017, and it quickly became a special place filled with love and memories. We tackled many DIY projects, making it our own, and in August 2019, our family grew when we adopted our dog, Brody. Our home was perfect for commuting into New York City—just a 30-minute train ride—where Victoria worked at Tiffany and Matt at the NFL. One of the best parts of landing our dream NYC jobs was commuting together every day.

Although we loved our first home, we knew it wasn’t our forever house. In April 2023, we moved to New Jersey, to be closer to family and into a neighborhood with top-rated schools. Now, both our parents live just 15-25 minutes away! We chose New Jersey for its diversity, sense of community, excellent schools, and abundance of young families. We're around the corner from the local elementary school and just down the street from a baseball field where we take Brody to play.

Since moving in, we’ve poured love into making our home special, especially our backyard, where we spend most summers. Victoria was so excited about gardening that she built garden beds before unpacking! We also built a patio and added a pool, creating the perfect space for summer BBQs and pool parties with family and friends.

The holidays are another favorite time of year. We decorate for Halloween with spooky décor and transform our home into a winter wonderland for Christmas. This past year, we hosted Christmas Day, cooking a big feast for our families. A special moment was watching our 2-year-old niece light up as she opened presents and ran around the house. Even Brody had fun playing with the wrapping paper!

We can’t wait to create more beautiful memories in our home and share these traditions with a child. Whether it's playing in the backyard, walking to school, or celebrating the holidays, we will fill their life with love, joy, and cherished moments.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are both extremely close with our families, talking or texting daily, and we love spending time together—whether it’s a big Sunday dinner with homemade pasta and sauce, backyard BBQs filled with laughter, or just cozy nights catching up.

Victoria has two younger sisters and they remain as close as ever. One lives down the Jersey Shore, while the other lives at home with their parents. We live just 15–20 minutes away, so we see them all the time. Matt has three siblings and his parents live about 30 minutes away. His sister and her husband have blessed us with two sweet nieces who bring so much joy to our lives.  We can’t wait to see them grow up with a new cousin to love and play with!

Our families are beyond excited to welcome a child through adoption. Victoria’s mom recently retired and is already looking forward to babysitting. Both of our families will be a huge support system, just as they always have been for us.

In our home, food is a way of bringing people together, and we want to share that with our child. We look forward to teaching them how to cook, involving them in family meals, and making sure they grow up surrounded by love, laughter, and delicious food. We also want to honor and celebrate their cultural background by incorporating dishes from their heritage into our meals. Beyond food, we’ll make sure their birth culture is a meaningful part of their life—through books, TV shows, and movies that reflect their roots.

More than anything, our home will be filled with love, laughter, and endless support. We can’t wait to provide a warm, happy childhood where they will always know how cherished and celebrated they are.

One of our favorite and most unique traditions is celebrating life’s milestones with Taco Bell. The night we got engaged, our first stop was straight to Taco Bell to celebrate, and we’ve even spent a few Valentine’s Days there, sharing laughs over tacos and Baja Blasts. It’s a simple but fun tradition that always reminds us to celebrate life’s big and small moments together.

Summers are all about the Jersey Shore for us—we love soaking up the sun at the beach, golfing together, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. In the winter, you’ll find us on the slopes, skiing and snowboarding, embracing the crisp mountain air. We can’t wait to share these experiences with a child, building sandcastles in the summer and teaching them how to ski in the winter.

Some of our favorite moments, though, are the quieter ones—Sundays spent on the couch watching football or hosting family and friends for a big game-day spread. Matt enjoys woodworking, crafting furniture and décor that fills our home with personal touches, while Victoria pours her creativity into her jewelry design business and gardening. We hope to pass down both creativity and a love for sports, encouraging our child to explore their interests, whatever they may be.

No matter what, our home will always be filled with love, laughter, and traditions that make life special. We can’t wait to create new memories and traditions as a family!

We are open to whatever type of adoption you feel most comfortable with. However, we hope for an open adoption where we can share updates through pictures, phone calls, and emails, as well as annual visits if that’s something you’d like. We would love for you to have the opportunity to see how your child is growing and for them to know their birth family in a way that feels natural and meaningful. Whatever level of contact you’re comfortable with, we will always honor and respect your wishes.

If our child’s racial or cultural background is different from ours, we will make sure they grow up with a strong connection to their heritage. We believe in celebrating diversity and will integrate it into their life from an early age—through books, TV shows, movies, traditions, and the foods we cook together—so they always feel a deep sense of pride in who they are.
