Hi! We are Matt and Victoria, welcome to our page! We’re so excited to share our story with you.

We met in the summer of 2013, in New Jersey through a mutual friend that Victoria has known since preschool and who Matt went to college with. We bought our first home together in 2017, rescued our dog, Brody, and were married in October of 2022. Brody walked down the aisle in his tux at our wedding, and was the star of the show!

We have talked about adoption since the beginning of our relationship, and that’s when we knew we were meant for each other and meant for this journey. We want nothing more than to give a child a loving, happy, family-oriented life, and to raise them with nothing but the best.

Financial Support

Expectant mothers who choose to make an adoption plan may qualify for some level of financial assistance during their pregnancy. However, each person's situation and specific needs are different. Your adoption social worker can help you determine what level of assistance you qualify for and deserve. Many expectant mothers qualify for financial assistance to cover basic pregnancy and living expenses, including but not limited to - transportation reimbursement, utility assistance for phone, water, and electricity/gas, maternity clothing and supplements, etc.

FAQ’s about placing a baby for Adoption

I'm considering giving my baby up for adoption. How much does that cost?

It won't cost you anything. If you choose to place your baby for adoption, all of your medical and legal fees will be covered and you may be eligible for financial assistance with other pregnancy-related expenses.

I'm experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and don't know who the birth father is. Can I still place my baby for adoption?

Yes. Even if you don’t know the identity of the birth father, you can still choose to make an adoption plan. However, every adoption situation is different. The adoption social worker you’re assigned to will get to know you and your story first, and then guide you through the process accordingly.

When is the right time to talk with an adoption professional?

You can make an adoption plan at any point in your pregnancy, even after the baby has been born. But, it's important to start the process as early in your pregnancy as possible. Connecting with those resources will allow you to gain access to important medical services, including prenatal care, to help ensure a healthy pregnancy.

When I create an adoption plan, will I get to choose who is in the room with me during delivery?

One aspect of your adoption plan is the "Hospital Plan" an outline of how you'd like your hospital stay and delivery to go. You can craft this on your own or with the help of your adoption social worker. But everything is up to you. You’ll be able to choose who comes to the hospital with you, who is in the room with you during delivery, and how much time you’d like to spend with the baby before signing the final papers.

How much contact will I have with the adoptive family after I place my baby with them?

As part of your adoption plan, you'll determine whether or not you’d like to have an open or closed adoption or something in between. Open adoptions may include phone calls, messaging (via social media, email, or text), and/or periodic visits each year. Closed adoptions may include no contact at all or annual updates provided to the birth parent(s) by the adoptive family. Each post-adoption relationship is different and can vary based on what an expectant mother chooses in her adoption plan.

Another September weekend in the books!

09/14/2025

What a weekend! Saturday was Matt’s annual fishing trip with his dad and brothers. They packed lunches, headed out on the bay, and waited patiently all day—but not a single fish was caught! Even so, they had plenty of laughs and were grateful for a full day together. Meanwhile, Brody and I drove down to my hometown for a friend’s son’s second birthday party. It was Mickey Mouse–themed, complete with a surprise visit from Mickey himself. The kids were a little unsure at first (a life-sized Mickey can be intimidating!), but a few eventually warmed up. We sang “Happy Birthday,” ate delicious chocolate cake, and caught up with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. I didn’t take many pictures this time—sometimes it just feels right to stay present and soak in the moment. On Sunday, we started the morning with a quick 9-hole round of golf with my dad and Matt’s brother Joe. The course wasn’t in great shape, so we called it early and spent the rest of the day relaxing in my favorite spot, enjoying my favorite view. I’d be lying if I said the birthday party didn’t make me feel a little wistful. Many of our...

What a weekend!

09/08/2025

This weekend was busy in the very best way! On Saturday, we celebrated our niece Ava’s third birthday. It’s hard to believe she’s already 3! The party was outdoors with family, complete with a toddler-sized bounce house that she loved. Since Ava is a big Peppa Pig fan, I couldn’t resist making her a custom T-shirt on my embroidery machine with Peppa on the front. We didn’t manage to get a photo with the birthday girl—true to the saying, “it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to!”—but we did snag one with her little sister Sophia, who got her own matching shirt. Watching Ava’s face light up as she opened gifts and dug into her cake was the best part of the afternoon. On Sunday, we switched gears and headed to MetLife Stadium for the Jets vs. Steelers game. Matt, who loves cooking, took charge of the tailgate. He packed up bacon, egg, and cheese sliders to start, followed by spicy sausage before we made our way inside. We went with two of Matt’s friends and even caught up with a few of his coworkers. The Jets didn’t pull out a win, but the game was so exciting...

Taco Night in Our Kitchen

09/03/2025

After a busy day at work, one of our favorite things to do is come home, turn on some music, and cook dinner together. Last night was taco night—one of our go-to meals because it’s quick, delicious, and fun to make. Matt takes pride in mixing up his own seasoning with different spices (he swears it makes the tacos taste better than anything from a packet!). While Matt handles the seasoning, I usually prep the toppings—last night it was plenty of shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. Of course, Brody never misses a chance to be part of taco night. He parked himself right by our feet, keeping a close eye on the cheese in case a few scraps “accidentally” fell his way. Taco nights are a simple tradition, but they’ve become a comforting part of our weekly rhythm. Cooking side by side, laughing about our day, and enjoying a cozy meal together reminds us how important the little moments are. We look forward to one day sharing these small traditions with a child—letting them help sprinkle cheese, choose their favorite toppings, or maybe even come up with their own taco creations.  If you are an expectant mom reading this, we...

Labor Day 2025

09/01/2025

I can't quite believe how fast this summer went. It's feels like yesterday was the Fourth of July and now it's Labor Day weekend.  We spent some time at Asbury Park this weekend. Victoria's sister Allie lives down there. We took Brody to "Yappy Hour" at the Wonder Bar. He loved playing with the other pups. We stopped and took a quick picture outside of the Berkeley Hotel where we got married. I want to make this photo a yearly tradition. It brings back so many memories! We love being at the beach. There is something about the salt air that makes everything feel better. If our stories feel like you'd like to know more, we'd love to hear from you! Matt and Victoria

Life Lately: Spring Updates

06/12/2025

It’s been a busy few months — sorry we’ve been a bit quiet since April! We wanted to share a few updates on what we’ve been up to: First, a huge congratulations to Matt! He was recently promoted to Senior Manager of Benefits at the NFL. This was such a well-deserved promotion. Matt is incredibly hardworking and cares deeply about supporting the employees he works with every day — just one of the many reasons we know he’ll be an amazing dad one day! On my end, I’ve been leaning into some personal goals and hobbies over the past two months. I recently completed an 8-week challenge at my gym (F45) and placed 2nd in the weight loss category, losing 5 pounds! This was my first-ever fitness challenge, and it truly pushed me both mentally and physically — but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’m also hoping to run the Stadicon 5K in Philly this September! Mother’s Day was a bit emotional for me this year. Around this time last year, we experienced a failed match, which was incredibly heartbreaking. I couldn’t help but imagine that this Mother’s Day might have been my first. While it’s still difficult...

A Sunday Well Spent Brings a Week of Content!

04/14/2025

Hi everyone—Victoria and Matt here! We kicked off our Sunday with an early morning round of golf alongside Matt’s brother, Joe, and his wife, Kat. It was a bit chilly to start, but we had a great time out on the course! We’ve both been working on our golf game and can’t wait for the warmer weather to get in even more rounds. After wrapping up, we headed to a cozy local spot Joe and Kat recommended for brunch—so good! Then we made our way back to their place to settle in and watch the Masters tournament together, which has become a fun little tradition of ours. It was a long but lovely day, and we’re always grateful for the time we get to spend with family.
