About Betsy (by Bret)

When I first met Betsy, I thought that she was an incredibly “unique” person. From her striking looks (not many with hair like hers…) to her unique perspective on the world and people, she is truly an original. Betsy has never been afraid to walk down a completely new path as she senses God leading.

Betsy is an incredibly loving person. From our family members to a random person that she meets at a store, Betsy exudes compassion when she connects with someone. Although she is incredibly gifted in many ways, Betsy often prefers to let others take the spotlight; normally preferring to focus the conversation on someone else rather than herself. That said, Betsy can be surprisingly fierce when she believes that a wrong has occurred and should be corrected! 

Betsy loves her family and cherishes the opportunity to be “Mama.” I have watched Betsy grow in her beliefs of everything that this role entails. As such, Betsy devotes most of her time to being a dedicated mom and keeping our house in order. In her free time, she enjoys learning how to do home-improvement projects around the house, watching sports (both our kid’s sports and on TV), baking, watching the leaves change colors for fall, and enjoying each new season. Christmas time is her favorite! I know that Betsy would cherish the opportunity to get to be “Mama” to another child in our home!
