Traditions + Hobbies + Interests

Holidays are a time that are ripe with tradition for us. We love spending Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families, but one of our favorite traditions is the “Friends-giving” with our church community group. This is a sweet time when all the kids get together to play, and all the adults meet in the kitchen to cook together. We then gather around a giant table and enjoy each other’s company.

Our household is filled with music and art, as both of us are creative. Sharon loves to cook, so there is always delicious food and wonderful smells around the house. James likes to build things, both mechanically or on the computer.

Football season is an energetic time around our house – we are huge Dallas Cowboys fans. We love spending time with each other, so whether we’re outside hiking or campingor inside watching a movie or playing board games as a family, we love each other’s company.
