About Ryan

Ryan was born and raised in Southern California and is the oldest of five kids, with one brother and three sisters. His youngest sister, who has Down syndrome and autism, is the light of the family. 

He is father to four kids, three biological sons in their early twenties and an adopted daughter, who is now 19. Ryan and his daughter have the same birthday, and they think it is pretty cool that he got to take her home from the hospital on his birthday. Three of Ryan’s kids live in Idaho and we see them regularly, and one of his sons still lives in Southern California, and we visit Southern California often to see him and other members of Ryan’s family: his mom, two sisters and brother, and their families. 

A real estate broker, he has been working in the real estate field for over 20 years. He owns his own real estate brokerage in Boise, Idaho, and also does property management. He loves to do woodworking projects and work on cars with his youngest son in the barn. He has done much of our home remodeling himself as well as build most of our cabin in Donnelly. He is really excited to start planting on our small homestead and get some farm animals.
