Another hot day…

It has regularly been reaching 100+ degrees here in CT! So we have been staying inside mostly. We went to Chris’ parents house to celebrate his brother’s birthday. Chris grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and we ate on the deck, played board games, and chatted about his brother’s wedding which is happening next month. An awesome part of having a large family is that it’s always somebody’s birthday, which means cake! 

We played with our baby niece in her little pool. She can say YEAH! now, and she is learning how to clap her hands. Too cute! We also watched Chris’ mom show us her dog’s new tricks. Her puppy is winning local awards for agility and other tricks. It’s pretty cool! 

We are continuing to both work from home for the foreseeable future. It’s been tough not seeing all of our friends and family as much as we’d like, but we are being safe. We’re hoping to get a couple of beach days in here and there, when it’s not so crowded.
