DIY Weekend!

Just had  a great starting built-in cabinets with bookshelves in our family room.  We both have great memories working with our fathers as kids building and helping around the house with a toolbox in tow.  Looking forward to continuing the tradition!  (Also a great article in Family Handyman magazine this month on the lessons for children through woodwork: abstract thinking in design, taking measurements, confidence in what they can build, and a sense of pride in their creation!)
