Family Getaway
Life can feel so hard and heavy right now with everything going on in the world. We had this vacation to the mountains planned with Shae’s family over a year ago. We debated on going, but realized it was needed for all of us. It was such a blessing to be able to escape to the mountains for 4 days. We barely had any cell service and we decided that we needed to disconnect and enjoy family and reflect on God’s blessings.
We took Zeke fishing for the first time and he LOVED it. He would cast the line and say that he caught a fish every time (even if he didn’t). We spent time eating, playing games and enjoyed slowing down in a cabin in the woods with beautiful views. It could not have come at a better time to relax and rejuvenate. We are grateful for our health, our family and that God is still in control.
