GOODBYE BEAU

Last Thursday I went horseback riding with my mom. When I got to her house, Beau, her 16-year-old Australian Sheppard, was refusing to eat, drink, stand, or walk. My mom raised him since he was only a few weeks old. She tried to help him stand up and he turned around and tried to bite her out of pain. We let him rest while we went on our ride. When we got back, he seemed to be doing better as he took a drink and ate some breakfast. I spent some time with him and took a few pictures. Sadly by 8pm Beau started to get worse again and seemed in a lot of pain, so my mom had the vet come by and helped him pass. I like to believe that our furry pets will be in heaven with us in the end, but I don’t know that for sure.
