Halloween!

My Mom and sister absolutely love Halloween.

As you can see in the picture, my Mom likes to turn her home into a haunted house and have us dress up to pass out candy to the neighborhood kids. For that Halloween, my Mom was a witch and I was a character from Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!

My sister is pretty crafty and actually loves to make theme costumes for herself, her husband, and son (when he was a kid).

It’s also been a tradition since I was in high school to participate in Trick or Treat for Canned Goods. When I was a kid, I’d dress up with my friends and my parents would take us to collect cans for local pantries. Now I’m the adult driving the kids. I think that’s even more fun!

The entire family is so excited to bring in a new little one to all of these Halloween adventures!
