Kayden’s Birthday Party!

This past weekend was filled with so much joy! My sister and her husband have a little boy, Kayden. This weekend we celebrated his second birthday! Kayden is both mine and Alec’s first niece/nephew. He has brought me so much joy over the past two years! 

Currently, Kayden is learning to say Aunt Hannah and Uncle Alec, as well as “Annie” who is our dog. He LOVES balls. My sister wanted to have a ball themed birthday party. In preparation I made a ball garland that is shown in the picture. I also made the 2 in the background. In addition to all of these ball decorations, my mom made a bunch of ball shaped foods like a cheese ball, melon balls, etc. Outside we had a small ball pit for Kayden. Watching him run and jump into the ball pit was one of the happiest things I’ve seen in a while. The pure joy on his face while he jumped in was amazing.

Alec and I got him a play grill set as his gift. This came with a spatula, hot dogs, burgers, and so on. He loves this! Kayden had so many presents since my brother-in-law has a really big family. It was a fun day to be outside and to celebrate the cutest nephew in the world! The photo is of me and Kayden!
