Labor Day Picnic

This Sunday we spent the entire day in a local park with KK’s side of the family. We fired-up the grill and had lots of great food to eat (summer salads, corn, grilled meats, fruit, homemade cookies, and veggies too of course!). Our niece and nephew kept us busy playing frisbee and catch when they weren’t lounging in the hammock. After lunch the entire family (all 14 of us, including dogs) took a scenic 4-mile hike around the park’s lake to enjoy the views. On the way home we all stopped for an ice cream as a reward for all of our afternoon exercise. It was a wonderful afternoon, and a perfect way to celebrate the long weekend.
