More weddings to come!

Chris:

My second-youngest brother got married last weekend. Because of COVID, they initially had to push their wedding back, but we were still able to have a very small, socially-distanced celebration. The weather was perfect, the bride was stunning, and everyone had a great time. We are also able to the stream the wedding so that our family and friends who could not attend were still able to see. They’ll hold a bigger wedding next year, if it’s safe to do so. 

Claire:

Oh my goodness, I love weddings so, so much. My new sister-in-law borrowed my veil for her “something borrowed,” and I cried so many happy tears. 

In other news, I’ve started my online program for my doctoral degree! I’m attending the University of New England for an Ed.D. in Transformative Leadership. I plan to focus my studies on the disparities of opportunities in literacy instruction and intervention as they intersect with race. I already am really enjoying my first class!
