Mother’s Day by Fran

We celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday by taking Mom out to her favorite restaurant by the beach!   

My sister and I spent the day with Mom bicycling, swimming in our pool and walking on the beach.  

Mom is very active, physically fit and is always “in motion”.   

She was a second grade school teacher for many years and instilled in me the importance of working hard, striving to achieve goals and being a confident woman.

Her kindness, devotion to family and zest for having fun shape my approach to life.

“Giggles and smiles make every day special”.  (Mom’s favorite quote).   I live by that expression.
