Quarantine Safari fun

One of our favorite places to visit is our fabulous zoo!  Cora is obsessed with all the big animals and it’s so nice to get outside and then play at the park or do picnics.  With the social distancing though, it has really been a challenge to find fun things to do while still keeping in our little family bubble.  The weekend before our (second) first day of school, we adventured out to Aggieland Safari!  We were able to drive through and feed the animals as many times as we wanted!  There were buffalo, cows, deer and even zebras!  Of course, our little Christmas lover saw the “rein”deer and wanted to know where Santa was. 🙂  So we explained he was still working.

When the larger groups had left, we took the opportunity to walk around to see some of their smaller creatures and hand feed their sweet giraffes!

The next day Cora went to school and had an absolute blast!  We had to drive by to see daddy at the fire station to tell him allllllll about it.  We are so thankful to be able to send our big girl to a school where her teachers absolutely love her and Jesus.  She comes home with Bible stories and has already gotten so much stronger in letter recognition, shapes and numbers.  We are so proud of how much she is learning and know the Lord has incredible plans for her this year!
