Weekend fit for a princess

We love celebrating special days in our family and birthdays are no exception!  We had originally planned to do a big party with friends and family, but because of coronavirus we kept things small.  Cora’s spoiling squad ( Mimi, Pop Pop, Yaya, Papa and Great Mimi) came for dinner, cake, presents and plenty of grandparent loving.  She even helped mama make her birthday cake this year.  (and it turned out super yummy)

We also had a princess party with Cora’s dance besties.  We painted nails, crafted our own tiaras (even daddy got one), had a dance party!

For Cora’s actual birthday we had a family beach day!  Even Molly & Abby came.  We spent hours jumping in waves, building sandcastles and just soaking up the sun.

To finish out our fun weekend, we attempted to fish with Cora and Molly.  Cora had been practicing her casting skills with Daddy in the back yard all weekend, but when we got there she was a bit more interested in picking the pretty flowers.  

You have been one of God’s greatest blessings in our lives.  We love watching you grow and cannot wait to see how the Lord directs your path.   We pray daily that your strong spirit, compassionate heart and joyful personality will be a blessing to everyone you meet.  We love you to the moon and back baby girl.
