About C.J.

There are not enough words to describe our son C.J (short for Carl James). In many ways, C.J is a typical pre-teen 11-year-old boy. He enjoys playing on his Xbox or Switch, anything relating to sports (whether playing or watching) and hanging out with friends and family. He is a kind, smart, handsome and empathetic little boy. We love being around C.J; he and Desere are both so much alike. 

We always joke about what a great snuggler he is and how happy he’ll make a woman one day! C.J is extremely open with his emotions and is in touch with not only his feelings but others’ as well. Although we had talked over the years about him having a sibling it just never happened; life had other plans. C.J has yearned for a sibling and as we watch what a compassionate young man he is becoming, we can see how great of a big brother he’ll be. C.J was raised with love, tickles and open affection, which we know he will pass on and give to this sibling.
