About Justin and Julie

Hello! We are Justin and Julie. Thank you for taking time to read our story and learning more about us as prospective parents.

We met as young teenagers at a high school party, not knowing that awkward first encounter would shape the rest of our lives. Justin tells everyone that he played it super cool that night and knew that Julie would be interested, but in reality Julie was at the party to meet new people and have fun. Over 18 years later, we are still debating how that first night went and who is right!

One event recollection we both agree on, however, is the day we picked up our dog, Otis, and how he changed our lives forever. Otis is our spoiled-rotten, but beyond adorable 9-year-old puggle. We both claim we are not those people that are obsessed with our dog but everyone knows that is not true.

From high school to graduating college, through friends and family weddings, our first home, adopting Otis, living in Washington D.C. and up to today, there has been one constant: Justin and Julie together. We know we are not the model/perfect couple, we disagree with each other at times, we have ups and downs and may get under each other’s skin. However, we both know that having spent half of our lives together that we truly are each other’s soulmate. We are beyond blessed to have found each other, and are even luckier now that you have found us. Nothing would bring us more joy than being selected by you to expand our family.
