About Us
Calia has been an elementary school dance educator as well as a yoga teacher for over 2 decades and now also guides the diversity, equity and inclusion work at her organization. She’s also a dancer and professional singer.
Natalia is a Program Manager for an organization that uses video for human rights work and also has decades of experience working with youth, facilitating workshops, and creating all types of media. Young people have reflected the world back to us in the most honest, pure, profound ways and we feel honored to be teachers/mentors and future parents.
As a queer family, we have learned about the power and beauty of “choosing” each other and creating familial bonds with those around us that transcend blood family ties, understanding that family is more than a last name. Being able to share parenthood together would be one of the biggest gifts we could receive. We can’t wait to show our future children the world!
