There were a few things that attracted me to Wendy right off the bat. When we first met, I quickly realized how happy and positive she was. For example, someone would complain and she would say, “Well, it could be worse,” and then just smile. Just being around her made me feel better about life. Driven and motivated, when she sets her mind to something, she gives it everything she has and always succeeds. Through the years, I have seen her work and struggle through different trials, which has made her a STRONG woman who can conquer anything.

I have been able to see these qualities translate straight into motherhood. Wendy has been such a great mom for Zeeland and DeniLynn. She wants to be a great mom and have a close, loving family.

Wendy has a generous heart and passion for serving others, especially little ones. She does a monthly activity for the young girls in our community and they all love her. We see them at church or around town, and they all want to come say hi to her and Zeeland and give them hugs. She also has close relationships with our nieces and nephews. One of our nephews is learning how to speak, and one of the few sentences he can put together is, “I want to go to Wendy’s house.” Aunt Wendy loves them, and they sure love her.

Wendy has so much love for everyone. I feel so lucky to be her husband and companion in building a family. Any child who joins our family will be so cared for and loved by her; she is the best mom!
